Our client is an ambitious, high-growth certified B Corp organisation that combines commercial success with a strong commitment to social and environmental impact. They are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to join their leadership team to cover a period of absence.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with senior stakeholders, the Interim Head of Finance will take ownership of the finance function, providing both strategic guidance and operational leadership.
The successful candidate will ensure robust financial management while supporting the business in achieving its commercial and impact objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance function, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
- Deliver accurate and timely management accounts, reporting, and financial insights.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
- Provide commercial analysis and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
- Support decision-making through robust financial planning and performance monitoring.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audit processes, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen financial governance.
- Partner with leaders across the business to improve financial performance and accountability.
- Prepare board-level reporting and present financial information to senior stakeholders.
- Lead and develop members of the finance team.
Candidate Profile
We are keen to speak with experienced finance professionals who can quickly establish credibility and add value in an interim environment.
You will possess:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Previous experience as a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Director, or similar senior finance leader.
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, and cash management experience.
- A proven track record of operating within dynamic, growing businesses.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
- Experience leading teams and driving operational improvements.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a B Corp, ESG-focused, sustainability-led, or purpose-driven organisation.
- Experience supporting business transformation, fundraising, investment, or change programmes.
- Exposure to impact reporting and sustainability metrics.
