Interim Finance Manager
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working)
Day Rate: £250 – £300 per day
Contract: Interim / Inside IR35

We’re currently partnering with a well-established charity organisation to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Manager for a key assignment based in Birmingham, offering hybrid working.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong charity or not-for-profit experience to support an organisation delivering vital services and making a genuine social impact.
The role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Interim Finance Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while providing stability and insight during a period of change.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day finance operations, including month-end processes
- Preparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance
- Supporting cashflow management and financial reporting
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required
- Providing guidance and support to the wider finance team
- Supporting senior management with financial analysis and decision-making
About you
We’re looking to speak with immediately available or short-notice finance professionals who can hit the ground running.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- Experience working in an interim or contract capacity
- A hands-on, adaptable approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
