People Support Advisor

Location: Birkenhead - On-site

Rate: £15 - £18 Per hour DOE

Contract: Interim - 3 months

We're seeking an organised and proactive People Support Advisor to join a busy People team within a superb national organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line HR support and respond to employee queries.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including contracts, offers, and pre-employment checks.
  • Support employee relations and absence management administration.
  • Prepare contract change letters and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Coordinate the leaver process and associated documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner.


About You

  • Strong administration experience, ideally within an HR environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Experience with HR systems is advantageous.
